A music video shot in one day on a windy coastline, with a single camera, a broken radio and no plan B.

The story

How it came together

From the first brief to the final frame: the thinking, the shoot and what happened next.

The brief

Mara Lune needed a video for the lead single of her second album. Small budget, big song, and an artist who hates looking into the lens.

The idea

We never show her singing to camera. Instead she walks the coast with an old radio that only picks up her own voice, fading in and out with the wind.

The shoot

One day, one location, a crew of six. We shot on 16mm and chased the light from dawn to the last minutes of sunset.

The result

The video premiered on a major music platform and was nominated for Best Low-Budget Video at a European music video festival.
